Every few months, we start new initiatives and enter into a new realm. One day we uncover the secrets of marketing in retail chains, another day we examine satellite photos, and then we acquire highly intriguing data from the residential market for analysis. Our projects provide us the chance to understand firsthand how many different sectors operate in addition to testing our abilities in challenging statistical, computational, and technological difficulties.
We are now seeking a new R/Shiny Developer with a background in life science to join our team because we are expanding quickly.
We anticipate that you will be proficient in R.
. Proficiency in handling, evaluating, and displaying biological data, particularly clinical data
. familiarity with Git and other version control systems
. Proficiency in developing websites or web apps with R/Shiny or JavaScript
. familiarity with developing and managing R packages
. Knowledge of requirements collection and backlog administration
. PhD in bioinformatics or a similar field (such as computer science, data science, biostatistics, or mathematics) or comparable professional experience
. If you are based in Poland, you have a valid ID; if you are based outside of Poland, you have a valid passport.
We would also value the following: 
. Knowledge of basic concepts in molecular biology and bioinformatics;
.  proficiency with bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., Bioconductor, BLAST, NCBI, EMBL, PDB, PubMed); 
. expertise in designing and maintaining reproducible data processing pipelines (e.g., Nextflow); 
. and expertise in applying data science approaches (e.g., data engineering, machine learning) to business problems.
. Capacity to create aesthetically striking apps using sophisticated JavaScript
. Understanding and proficiency with Shiny's advanced mechanisms, such as bindings, register DataObj, performance, promises, single-threading, etc.
. familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
. familiarity with database management systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
. Experience working with scientists and conducting clinical studies
